General Regulations

1. Sponsor

The Navigator Promotion 2024 is sponsored by the Navigator Paper brand, property of The Navigator Company (references herein to the “The Navigator Company” shall include any company belonging to The Navigator Company group).The company responsible for the promotion is The Navigator Paper UK Ltd., with registered office at 5 The Courtyard, London Road, Newbury, Berkshire, England, RG14 1AX.

2. Eligibility

The promotion is open to all legal residents of the countries listed on the end of these regulations who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.

Employees of The Navigator Company (also including any company of the Navigator Company group) and Request – Web Solutions, Lda., their parent and affiliate companies, suppliers as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible.

3. Timing

The promotion will begin at 00:00 A.M. (GMT) on the 1st of September 2024 and will end at 23:59 P.M. (GMT) on the February 28th of 2025.

4. How to Enter

To take part in the Navigator Paper Promotion visit https://navigator2024.com and enter the code you will find on the ream package or use a free code available on the same website, your e-mail address and your actual country.

Each ream code or generated free code can only be used one time during the Promotion period and grants three credits to play.

5. Free Codes

To take part in the Navigator Paper Promotion you do not need to purchase any Navigator Paper product. On the promotion website, available at https://navigator2024.com you will be able to obtain free codes replacing the promotional codes found on the Navigator packages.

Please note that the system allows the generation of only one code per day per participant.

6. Prizes

Prizes will be awarded randomly to 100 different participants throughout the promotional period.

Prize winners will be sent an email from [email protected]. Only prize winners who receive the Certification Code (winner announcement shown on the screen and in their e-mail message) are then eligible to win the prize.

Prize winners must keep this code safe for use so that they can contact the Help Desk. This code is proof that they have won.

Should there be any doubts about the date and time of the winning email, it will considered as official the information recorded by the game server at the moment of sending.

Limit of one (1) prize per person (per Identification Document), for the duration of this Promotion.

7. Prize algorithm

This promotion awards randomly 100 prizes throughout the promotional period.

Each week, the algorithm selects a number of winning moves for the following week, allowing users a chance to win. The real-time algorithm determines the winners, providing instant notification of winning or losing.

The winning move corresponds to a specific scratched card number (e.g., the 120th scratched card of the week). The user who scratches the designated card number on the following day will be awarded the prize.

The random generation system uses the Mersenne Twister Random Number Generator method. Further details can be found at http://math.sci.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/m-mat/MT/emt.html.

If there are no entries for a particular week’s draw, the prize allocated for that week will roll over to the following week's draw, increasing the number of prize for that week.

If there are no entries on the final week of the competition, the prize(s) will be placed into a final draw. This final draw will be open to all participants who have entered the sweepstake at any point during its duration and did not win.

The winner(s) will be notified by email. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 8 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

8. Prize Validation and Delivery

Upon winning, the participant will receive a link to a form where they can submit a photo of the original package containing the winning code, along with a scanned copy of a personal identification document. This link will be provided on the winner's screen immediately after winning and will also be included in the confirmation email sent to the winner.

Winners who have participated using a code must submit a photo of the original package containing the winning code, along with a scanned copy of a personal identification document, within eight (8) days of being notified via email. The code on the package must match the code used during the winning play. Failure to provide a matching code will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.

The personal identification document can be any official document that unequivocally verifies the winner's identity, such as a passport, national ID card, or driver's license. This document must enable the organizers to ensure that the same individual does not receive more than one prize throughout the promotion. It is essential that the document contains sufficient information to facilitate this verification.

Prizes will be reserved for this eight-day period, beginning from the date of the winner's email confirmation. Failure to provide the required documents within this timeframe will result in automatic forfeiture of the prize, which will then be offered to another participant.

Prizes will be shipped at no additional cost to residents of the eligible countries listed in this promotion. Winners are responsible for any national or local taxes associated with their prize. The delivery address must match the country selected on the game entry form.

Prizes will be shipped once via an international courier service. The promoter is not liable for any delays caused by the manufacturer’s lack of prize availability. In the event the prize is not received, no second delivery attempt will be made.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-substitutable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.

No more than one prize will be sent to the same address, regardless of the number of winning entries associated with that address. This measure is in place to ensure fairness and prevent the concentration of prizes at a single location.

9. Invalid Participations

Incomplete, invalid, or incorrect entries will not be accepted under any circumstances. A participant is only eligible to claim a prize upon receiving the Certification Code, which will be displayed on the screen and included in the winner's confirmation email. It is essential to keep this code secure, as it will be required when contacting the Help Desk.

This code serves as proof of your win and is generated at the exact moment you are declared a winner. Each Certification Code is unique and cannot be replicated. To be recognized as a valid winner, participants must present the email containing the prize confirmation, along with the unique Certification Code, within the designated date and time of the game.

The official date and time will be based on the records from the game server at the time of winning, which will be used to verify the validity of the claim. Please note that the date and time of when the email is received will not be considered valid.

Any failure to follow the procedures outlined here will result in disqualification, and the prize will be forfeited.

10. Data Protection

Personal data collected during this promotion is limited to the minimum needed to enter the promotion and in any case it will be available to third parties.

The Navigator Company agrees to protect the participants' personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorized access, as required by the 67/98 Portuguese Act of October 26, Article 14.

The Navigator Company warrants you, under the 67/98 Portuguese Act of October 26, Article 11, the possibility to access, update or remove your personal data at any time.

11. Disclaimer

The Navigator Company (including any company of The Navigator Company group) hereby disclaims any liability and shall not be held liable for any damages including, without limitation, system failure, website accessibility, prize shipping delays or any other adverse effects of any kind, especially those derived from third parties involved in the promotion. However, The Navigator Company will do everything to minimize any eventual problems that may arise.

The promoter reserves the right to exclude from the competition any participant that does not honour its spirit. There is no alternative to the prize stated and we cannot send the prize to anyone else only the winner. By entering the promotion all participants agree to accept and be bound by all terms of these regulations. Any additional information provided during the promotion will be considered as part of these rules.

If you are a winner, we may ask you to take part in publicity relating to this prize draw with no further recompense. The winners name will be promoted on social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter and Facebook).

We may re-post/re-tweet some entries online during the promotional period. If we use your entry this will not increase your chance of winning and is, by no means, an endorsement of your entry.

We will not tolerate anyone who posts comments via any social media channel or anywhere else during this prize promotion that we consider to be bullying, spiteful or upsetting to other entrants and followers of Navigator Paper or The Navigator Company or directly aimed at us. Anyone acting in this way will be disqualified from the prize promotion.

We reserve the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion for whatever reason, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but if this happens, we will use all reasonable endeavors to avoid consumer disappointment.

The promoter’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
